Staff recognised at Abellio Achievement Awards

Two members of staff from Abellio's Bus division were recognised for their achievements and dedication at the annual Abellio Achievement Awards
Paul O'Bentley from Abellio Rail Replacement, part of Abellio bus, won the "Innovator of the Year" award and Andrew Brunsick from Abellio London's Beddington bus depot was a finalist in the "Bringing Abellio Values to Life" Award
Paul O’Bentley success was for taking Abellio Rail Replacement to the next level with the development work and innovation he’s delivered through the new system tool "ORRLA" to help improve the delivery of rail replacement services.
The event, now in it fifth year was held in Glasgow on the evening of 22nd March.
In total there are six awards which all recognise and celebrate the achievement of staff across the wider Abellio Group.  This year the number of women recognised during the ceremony was at the highest level ever, with more women finalists overall than ever before.
Roger van Boxtel, CEO of NS, and Bert Groenewegen, CFO of NS, both attended the ceremony and Roger said that Abellio in both the UK and Germany made him feel very proud. “I really mean it when I say I feel really great about the performance you deliver as a team everywhere.”
