All you need to join our fast track training is a driving licence, alongside at least 6 months city driving experience. In just 4-6 weeks, you can go from bus dreamer to bus driver.

Our Fastrack training usually takes between 4-6 weeks with our training team, we'll support you all the way through, and you will be paid while you train.
Yes training is fully paid. You will be paid £13.15 per hour throughout your training. You'll earn £15.05 per hour once you've qualified - rising to £18 per hour after two years.

An experienced driver earns a minimum of £18 per hour *subject to Licence for London . Once you have had two full years in service as a bus driver you are considered an experienced driver at Transport UK London Bus
You have to be at least 18 years old to become a trainee driver at Transport UK London Bus.
You'll need a full UK driving licence (category B) with at least 6 month's experience driving in the UK. You must have no more than six penalty points, and have not committed any drink driving offences in the last five years.
Some medical conditions mean that you can't have a bus driving licence. Get in touch with us at careers@abellio.co.uk and we can advise you.
You will receive an email that confirms we have received your application. If your application has been successful we will contact you by email and telephone to arrange an assessment.
At either our Battersea or Walworth depot you will have a quick interview, medical assessment, drug and alcohol test and complete relevant paperwork.
Most of our training courses take place at our central London Battersea depot, but some of our training takes place in West London.
