Abellio is delighted and proud to support Pride and the LGBTQ+ community in London with a special Pride bus wrap. The Route 63 bus was officially unveiled by Transport for London next to a similarly eye-catching Overground train on June 26.

This very special design was shaped by the lived experience of London’s diverse LGBTQ+ community and is on the roads now on Route 63 which operates for Abellio customers between Honor Oak and Kings Cross. Route 63 operates Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV buses - which are state-of-the-art fully electric vehicles.

London’s Pride parade takes place on Saturday 1 July, and the Abellio Pride bus will be at the heart of it, accompanying people representing TfL. The TfL contingent will be marching under banners of the Women, Faith, RACE, Carers, Parent and Guardians, and Disability Colleague Network groups as well as the OUTbound banner to highlight the many aspects of the LGBTQ+ communities of London.

TfL has joined with LGBTQ+ personalities to celebrate Pride, with the stars telling their stories as part of a poster campaign alongside LGBTQ+ community stories. Stars include London’s Night Czar, Amy Lame,  Drag Race’s Bimini, stylist Gok Wan, DJ and writer Nick Grimshaw and dancer Queen MoJo.

Jon Eardley, Managing Director, Abellio London said:

“At Abellio we value our people and support them to have the freedom to be themselves, we are deeply honoured to be part of London’s Pride and to celebrate London’s diverse LGBTQ+ community.”
