Abellio London Bus is delighted that Karen Morrison has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Unsung Hero category at the UK Bus Awards. Karen has been recognised for her unwavering commitment to excellence and consistently going above and beyond for her team.

Karen joined Abellio in 2004, initially working with the HR team; she then moved to the Commercial Department in 2016 as a supervisor for rail replacement. In 2017, she was promoted to Commercial Services Coordinator. She now manages a team of supervisors, drivers and customer assistants across Abellio’s busy rail replacement services following a recent promotion to Commercial Services Support Manager.

Karen consistently delivers excellence and has received several commendations from stakeholders and customers. She provides positive solutions, often at pace, yet always finds time to support and inspire team members to reach their full potential. Her outstanding attitude and mindset ensure that she always seeks opportunities to learn and grow, bringing valuable insight and opportunities for her teams.
