On 24-26 March 2023, we were delighted to bring one of our brand new Wrightbus Electroliners to the London Transport Museum’s Depot Open Days in Acton. These are fully electric buses that have only come into service on route 111 in West London in 2023.
It is always a privilege to be a part of LTM’s depot weekends, and we were incredibly excited to share one of our brand new Electroliners with the crowds who visited. The history of London’s transport is inspirational; being able to share the future of bus transport alongside iconic vehicles from the past is a real honour
One of the best elements of a LTM depot weekend is getting questions from the many people who attend. The electrification of bus routes across London and the new technology involved in keeping wheels moving is definitely a subject that Londoners are interested in. We can safely say that the design of our new buses, the comfortable seats and greater access to information whilst on board got a big thumbs up from the depot visitors!
